RuneScape 3's biggest achievements are marked by capes of accomplishment — prestige rewards that show off years of dedication. Here's what the major milestone capes represent and how to see how close you are.

Quest Cape

The Quest Cape is awarded for completing every quest in the game. New quests are added over time, so keeping the cape means finishing each one as it releases. It's one of the most respected early long-term goals because quests gate access to huge chunks of RS3's content.

Max Cape

The Max Cape requires level 99 in all skills. It's the classic "I've finished the grind" cape and represents tens of thousands of hours across every skill — see how to max for what that total actually costs. Reaching it means no skill is left behind.

Completionist Cape

The Completionist Cape (Comp Cape) goes far beyond maxing. On top of every skill at 99, it demands a long checklist of achievements: quests, minigames, reputation, collections, and more. It's one of the hardest goals in the game, and the requirements grow as new content is added.

Trimmed Completionist Cape

The Trimmed Comp Cape is the completionist cape with an even longer list of elite requirements layered on top — the pinnacle of RS3 accomplishment, held by a small fraction of players.

Master Quest Cape

The Master Quest Cape is the quest cape's tougher sibling: every quest plus miniquests, quest-related achievements, and more. It's a completionist-tier goal purely for the questing side of the game.

Tracking your cape progress

Each of these is really a bundle of smaller milestones, so the best way to chase one is to watch your progress bars climb. On a Codex profile you can see live progress toward Max, Master Max, and Quest Cape, plus which individual skills or requirements are still holding you back.
