RS3 Thieving Calculator
Pick a training method and a target. See how many it takes, what it costs at today's Grand Exchange prices, and how long, where the RuneScape Wiki states a rate.
Start from a player above to see their pace in Thieving and track this as a goal.
This method needs level 38 Thieving, and the start is level 1.
Nothing is used up, so this costs no GP.
Each one counted here is one success. A failed attempt gives no XP, so until you rarely fail you will need more tries than this. What you steal is not counted.
No XP boost is counted (no outfit, aura, bonus XP or portable), so with one you will need fewer.
No time is shown: how fast you get each one depends on your level, tools and boosts, and the Wiki gives no one figure for that.
Cost: 0 gp (0.00 gp per XP)
From 0 XP (level 1) to 13,034,431 XP. Level 99 is 13,034,431 XP. The address of this page keeps the sum, so a link to it opens the same one.
Where these numbers come from
Every method, level, XP figure and recipe is the RuneScape Wiki's, read on 3 November 2026: the list is the Wiki's own Thieving calculator's, and each method's numbers were checked against a second Wiki page (the NPC's or stall's own page) before going in. Each method links to the page its numbers came from.
This page has pickpocketing and stalls. Chests, safes, doors, the Sorceress's Garden and the rest of the Wiki's Thieving calculator are not here.
16 of the Wiki's methods left out, because its pages disagree about them or do not state them
Showing one of these would mean picking which Wiki page to believe, or using a number no page states, so they are left out until the Wiki settles them.
Left out: H.A.M. member, H.A.M. Guard, Cave goblin, Guard, Ghotistix, Fremennik citizen, Menaphite marketeer, Gnome, Elf, Vegetable stall, Crafting stall, Monkey Food stall, Monkey general store, Rock cake stall, Lamp stall, Ardougne Spice Stall.
Prices are the Grand Exchange guide prices, as the RuneScape Wiki's exchange data gives them. The page keeps them for up to about seven hours, and every answer says the date of the prices it used. For options this page does not have, use the Wiki's Thieving calculator.
