RS3 Hunter Calculator
Pick a training method and a target. See how many it takes, what it costs at today's Grand Exchange prices, and how long, where the RuneScape Wiki states a rate.
Start from a player above to see their pace in Hunter and track this as a goal.
This method needs level 77 Hunter, and the start is level 1.
Nothing is used up, so this costs no GP.
Each one counted here is one catch, at the XP the creature's page states. Traps, bait and what a catch gives are not counted.
No XP boost is counted (no outfit, aura, bonus XP or portable), so with one you will need fewer.
No time is shown: how fast you get each one depends on your level, tools and boosts, and the Wiki gives no one figure for that.
Cost: 0 gp (0.00 gp per XP)
From 0 XP (level 1) to 13,034,431 XP. Level 99 is 13,034,431 XP. The address of this page keeps the sum, so a link to it opens the same one.
Where these numbers come from
Every method, level, XP figure and recipe is the RuneScape Wiki's, read on 3 November 2026: the list is the Wiki's own Hunter calculator's, and each method's numbers were checked against a second Wiki page (the creature's own page) before going in. Each method links to the page its numbers came from.
This page has tracking and falconry, snaring, nets and sprites, deadfalls, pitfalls and box traps. Implings, Croesus, Anachronia, big game hunting, moths, scarabs, birdhouses and urns are not here.
29 of the Wiki's methods left out, because its pages disagree about them or do not state them
Showing one of these would mean picking which Wiki page to believe, or using a number no page states, so they are left out until the Wiki settles them.
Left out: Spotted kebbit, Penguin, Ruby harvest, Sapphire glacialis, Orange salamander, Squirrel, Green salamander, Snowy knight, Black warlock, Red salamander, Black salamander, Ruby harvest (Barehanded), Sapphire glacialis (Barehanded), Charming moth, Snowy knight (Barehanded), Black warlock (Barehanded), Diseased kebbit, Plover bird, Cobalt skillchompa, Ferret, Gecko, Monkey, Raccoon, Viridian skillchompa, Chinchompa, Azure skillchompa, Imp-in-a-box, Crimson skillchompa, Crystal skillchompa.
Prices are the Grand Exchange guide prices, as the RuneScape Wiki's exchange data gives them. The page keeps them for up to about seven hours, and every answer says the date of the prices it used. For options this page does not have, use the Wiki's Hunter calculator.
