How to Track a Clan or Group Ironman in RuneScape 3
RuneScape 3 is more fun with other people, and tracking a whole group adds a layer of friendly competition. Here's how to follow your clan, your Group Ironman team, or a custom squad on The Codex. (New to tracking? Start with how to track your own XP first.)
Clans
When you look up a player who's in a clan, The Codex records which clan they belong to. Once a few members have been searched, that clan appears on the clan leaderboard, ranked by the combined XP of its tracked members. You can open any clan's page to see its roster and how each member is progressing.
The more members of your clan get searched, the fuller the picture — so it's worth pasting a few names in to get things started.
Group Ironman
Group Ironman teams are tracked the same way. Look up a group's members and the group gets its own page showing everyone's stats side by side — handy for seeing who's carrying the team and who needs to catch up.
Squads: your own private competition
If you want something more personal than a whole clan, start a Squad. It's a private XP leaderboard for whoever you add — your mates, your clan chat, a few rivals. You get:
- A weekly XP race with a live podium
- Each member's gains tracked automatically
- A bit of good-natured roasting for whoever hasn't logged in
Squads are free and take about a minute to set up. Start a squad and share the link with your friends.
Get notified
However you're tracking, you can connect Discord to get pinged when members hit milestones — a level 99, a 120, a new cape. It keeps the whole group in the loop without anyone having to check manually.
