RS3 Firemaking Calculator
Pick a training method and a target. See how many it takes, what it costs at today's Grand Exchange prices, and how long, where the RuneScape Wiki states a rate.
This method needs level 45 Firemaking, and the start is level 1.
Cost at today's Grand Exchange guide prices (as of 15 October 2026). Anything sold counts the 2% GE tax.
Bonfire XP is the Wiki's figure for each log. The Wiki's Bonfire page says a bonfire also gives a little more for each Firemaking level, and more again when other players add logs to the same fire. Neither is counted here, so on a bonfire you may need fewer.
No XP boost is counted (no outfit, aura, bonus XP or portable), so with one you will need fewer.
The Wiki states no time for this method, so none is shown.
| Use | Amount | Each | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maple logs | 96,552 | 351 gp | 33.9M |
Cost: 33,889,752 gp (2.60 gp per XP)
From 0 XP (level 1) to 13,034,431 XP. Level 99 is 13,034,431 XP. The address of this page keeps the sum, so a link to it opens the same one.
Where these numbers come from
Every method, level, XP figure and recipe is the RuneScape Wiki's, read on 15 October 2026: the list is the Wiki's own Firemaking calculator's, and each method's numbers were checked against a second Wiki page (the item's own page) before going in. Each method links to the page its numbers came from.
This page has only lighting logs and burning them on a bonfire. The Wiki's Firemaking calculator lists 107 more methods (fire lines, cremation, barbarian firemaking, Char's training cave, incense sticks and others) that were not checked against a second Wiki page, so they are not here at all, offered or left out.
22 of the Wiki's methods left out, because its pages disagree about them or do not state them
Showing one of these would mean picking which Wiki page to believe, or using a number no page states, so they are left out until the Wiki settles them.
Left out: Maple logs (on a bonfire), Yew logs (on a bonfire), Corrupted magic logs (on a bonfire), Blisterwood logs (on a bonfire), Curly root (on a bonfire), Driftwood (on a bonfire), Pyre logs, Oak pyre logs, Willow pyre logs, Teak pyre logs, Arctic pyre logs (Arctic pine pyre logs), Maple pyre logs, Light orb (light orb), Mahogany pyre logs, Eucalyptus pyre logs, Yew pyre logs, Magic logs, Blisterwood logs, Magic pyre logs, Elder logs, Elder pyre logs, Eternal magic logs.
Prices are the Grand Exchange guide prices, as the RuneScape Wiki's exchange data gives them. The page keeps them for up to about seven hours, and every answer says the date of the prices it used. For options this page does not have, use the Wiki's Firemaking calculator.
