The Codex for clans
What The Codex can do for your clan, and how to set each part up. It is free, and each part says what it needs.
Your clan's page
For the 240 clans at the top of Jagex's clan XP rankings, the page lists every member, with the XP each one gained this week and in the last 30 days, and who joined, left or changed rank. It comes from the clan's member list, which The Codex saves once a day. Members who chose to leave the player lists still count in the totals but are not named.
Any other clan has a page too, with the members who have been looked up on The Codex.
There is also a live picture of the clan to put on a forum or in Discord.
How: Look up a member by name on The Codex. If their profile shows no clan, press Add clan there and type its name. The clan's name on their profile then opens the clan's page.
The clan leaderboardRace the whole clan
An XP race for the whole clan, with one link to share. Every clan member is in from the start, private profiles included, because the numbers come from Jagex's clan member list. Nobody signs in or signs up.
A race can also be for a list of up to 50 names from anywhere, counting Overall XP, levels gained or one skill, and it can post in a Discord channel when it starts and when it ends with the top three.
How: Type your clan's name, pick when it starts and how long it lasts (3 days to 1 month, or dates you choose), and share the link in clan chat. Keep the owner code you are given: without it you cannot rename, end early or delete the race.
Start a raceYour clan's Discord channel
Point one channel at your clan and The Codex posts there when a tracked member reaches a milestone: 99s, 120s, 200m and cape unlocks.
You choose how much: milestones only, milestones and notable drops, every level up, or everything, which adds their activity.
How: On the Discord page, sign in with Discord and paste a webhook link from your server's settings (Integrations, then Webhooks). The first person to set a clan's channel needs a verified character in the clan, and after that only they can change it.
Set up the channelSquads
An XP leaderboard for any players you choose, from your clan or not, with a weekly XP race and a podium. Good for a team inside the clan, or friends across clans.
How: Sign in with Discord, name the squad, add the players and share its page. You can add or remove players later.

What a clan leader might look for and will not find, so nobody is surprised.
- Every member for a clan outside the top 240. Those pages show the members who have been looked up on The Codex.
- Posts about members nobody has looked up. The clan channel hears about tracked members only.
- A clan race for one skill. A clan race counts Overall XP, because the clan list gives one number per member.
